Attractions LOG CABIN TOURIST CENTRE Located at the corner of HWY #3 and Main Street in Manitou you will find the “Log House” Tourism Centre. The house was built in 1884 in what is believed to be the CPR style. A committee of volunteers moved and restored the building in a turn of the century style with donated furnishings.
The Manitou Opera House, built in 1930 with Arts and Crafts influenced architecture, has a proscenium stage, a partially sloped auditorium, and a four-step balcony. The house holds 385 patrons for concerts and will seat 100 for small banquets.

The planning committee works hard all year to organize this well attended festival where visitors can get a “Taste of the Pembina Valley”.
Come and take the plunge, run, jump, and dive off a platform with a 150 foot drop zipping across the trees. Or sit, relax and feel like a bird as you zip-line across the ravines with breath-taking views of the Pembina Valley . Get away from the noise and the hustle and bustle of the city. Sit down, relax, and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Pembina Valley.
This 30 acre site is located two miles west and two miles north of Manitou. The site consists of two parcels of wooded and open grassland areas divided by a stream and marshland. A 100-foot floating boardwalk connects the two pieces of land.

Valley Conservation District The park is located 6.6 km west on Hwy #3, 3.2 km north and .8 km east from Manitou. Just watch for the signs.
The middle two weeks of July see the tiny little hamlet of LaRiviere become the region's centre of activity, as the renowned Oak Valley Productions stage their annual Passion Play at its picturesque outdoor theatre.
The museum is located 6.4 km west of Manitou on Hwy #3 and 6.4 km north. Watch for signs.
The Archibald Historical Museum is privately owned and operated seasonally. Open May-September, noon- 8 p.m. Closed Wednesday and Thursday unless you have an appointment. Contact 204-242-2235 for more information. PEMBINA VALLEY PROVINCIAL PARK
Whether you're an alpine skier, a cross-country skier, a snowboarder, or even a golfer, there's plenty for you at Holiday Mountain. Alpine Skiing at Holiday Mountain is as good as it gets in Manitoba. The ski facilities are comprised of two double chair lifts, a t-bar and two rope tows, with a total uphill capacity of 5000 people per hour. The Terrain park continues to be modified. Holiday Mountain now has a large table-top as well as a small table-top, along with 3 different rails including a rainbow rail.
The gorgeous 9 hole golf course offers a challenging layout carved from the natural side hills of the scenic Pembina Valley. Manitou's swimming pool was completed in July 2003. The Facility boasts several leisure amenities, including;
The pool is open seven days a week from mid-June to early September. Programs include Red Cross, Preschool and Swim lessons, LifeSaving Society leadership courses, aquacize classes, adult/figness swimming, public swimming, and swim team practices and competitions.
