Town of Manitou and Pembina Manitou CDC
The Pembina-Manitou CDC and The Town of Manitou are jointly seeking a qualified, dedicated, results oriented leader for the position of Community Services Manager. The chosen individual will have the ability to work effectively with potential investors, all levels of government, community organizations, Council and the Board.
This position is situated in The Town of Manitou which is approximately 160 km SW of Winnipeg and 160km SE of Brandon in the beautiful and scenic Pembina Valley.
The CSM reports directly to both The Town of Manitou and the Pembina Manitou CDC Board. The CSM will be responsible for community expansion, business development, tourism, recreation and marketing the community as a place to live, work and visit.
The ideal candidate will have experience in fostering Community participation and support; and developing dynamic relationships with business leaders and senior government officials. Ideally the successful individual will possess the following:
A degree or diploma in business, marketing, economics, community development or a related field with complimentary experience
- Experience with project management
- Excellent Public speaking, presentation and leadership skills.
This is a full time salaried position which offers an excellent benefit package and an annual salary range of $40 000 depending on qualifications and experience.
